Bringing a methodical approach to protecting homes throughout the Upstate of South Carolina.

Jay Pope and Carissa Hood-Pope
Jay and Carissa, owners of Pope’s Precision, have been together since meeting in junior high and continued their relationship throughout high school and college before marrying after graduation. Both are lifelong residents of Clemson, South Carolina, and are proud parents to their son, James.
Carissa graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and is the owner of CMHP Design, a landscape architectural design firm she has successfully operated for 18+ years. Jay studied Industrial Technology at Greenville Technical College and has built a career in service management, customer service, and heavy equipment operation.
For several years, Jay and Carissa have envisioned launching a home watch business that would complement Carissa’s design firm and align with their shared strengths in service, reliability, and client care. After nearly two decades of running CMHP Design, they decided the time was right to bring that vision to life through Pope’s Precision Home Watch.
Outside of work, Carissa enjoys mountain biking, tending to her greenhouse, and cultivating her gardens. Jay is an avid deer hunter and enjoys restoring and working on his 1953 Chevy truck. Together, they love spending time on their hobby farm and embracing the outdoors.
Pope’s Precision Home Watch proudly serves the Upstate of South Carolina, including Clemson, Central, Seneca, Salem, Westminster, Anderson, Greenville, Liberty, Easley, and Sunset.
To provide professional, dependable home watch services through consistent visual inspections, detailed reporting, and responsive communication, helping homeowners maintain their properties with confidence while they are away.

Pope’s Precision Home Watch is designed for homeowners who expect professionalism without unnecessary complexity. Our services are not one-size-fits-all. Each plan is customized based on your property, travel schedule, and specific concerns.
We do not offer monthly inspections because consistency matters. Weekly and bi-weekly visits allow us to establish a reliable monitoring routine and recognize changes more effectively. Our role is to observe, document, and communicate obvious issues clearly so you can make informed decisions about your property.
Serving communities across Pickens and Oconee Counties and surrounding areas, we bring local insight, structured processes, and personal accountability to every home we monitor.
